Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2019
Tory Burch gave us something to think about with this collection. The question raised with these designs are, “How do you make something almost completely different, yet with your invisible fingerprint on it all at the same time?” Well, whatever the answer is to this question Tory Burch figured it out seamlessly!

We are used to seeing Tory Burch pieces that are very colorful and with lots of prints. But while all of the other designers are currently experimenting with mixing prints, Tory Burch its experimenting with basics! She took what she was known for, and toned it down. All the while, these designs are still unmistakably her. I must say, that is impressive to me!
These notable designs were not lost on fashion enthusiasts! Actually, this was one of the most popular and talked about runway shows of New York Fashion Week! Once again we see how the trench coat will be the “it” outerwear of spring 2019, but with a twist! Another trend is the straight and sleek designs that have been found consistently all fashion week long. This is a definite dedication to the 1920’s!
One of my favorite pieces from Tory Burch this season is the white dress with the green stripes pictured above! It is so unlike her normal designs, but still very much her! The cover photo for this blog post is another favorite of mine because it seems like something that would be perfect to wear to a polo or tennis match!
I say bravo to Tory Burch for taking a leap of faith into the unknown of design! It worked out spectacularly and paid off! Not many designers would be willing to experiment so much all in one collection, but Tory Burch did and it was a brave move! I cannot wait until we see so much more and where this creative curiosity will take her!
