What I’m Wearing for Christmas Eve 2018

Oh the holiday season! Arguably one of my favorite times of the year! Why? Well, there is just something so magical in the air. Maybe it is the twinkling lights? Or the snow that sometimes covers the ground? Or maybe it is just because people seem to be a little more kind to one another this time of year? Whatever the reasoning is, one thing I do know for sure is that winter fashion has always been one of my favorites seasons to dress for!

The addition of more layers makes the mixing and matching of closet staples with trendy accessories even more exciting than it normally is! I also think the colors for the holiday season are all so pretty! No other time of year are we allowed to wear so much red, green, or burgundy.

My favorite accessory this year to couple with different outfits is a classic blanket scarf! This scarf is for all of the days when it is so cold outside you just can’t wrap yourself up enough! Not to mention the blanket scarf can be paired with more elegant looks to keep you warm if you are going to a holiday party or some other formal event.

That is why I have decided to wear it for our Christmas Eve celebrations this year! With this scarf I will be pairing it up with a camel colored sweater to balance out the seasonal colors and give some contrast. In addition, a good pair of black skinny jeans will be in use to give the entire ensemble a more understated and casual feel. The ridding boots will add the finishing touch of class and cuteness to this look! The brown of my boots will also work perfectly with the brown tones that are found in the camel sweater.
