A Classic Black Turtleneck

Is there anything more chic than a black turtle neck? There is a reason this seemingly simple piece of clothing remains within the ever-changing fashion industry as one that everyone finds attractive. Thanks to the incredible Audrey Hepburn we now consider a black turtleneck a closet essential!

Over the years, the color black has proven itself to be the only color in fashion that will never truly go out of style. Yes, you may have the color of the year be a peach or emerald, but if you are wearing an all black ensemble you are immediately seen as someone who is “in the know” so to speak. That is why an all black outfit like the one I am wear is perfect for a timeless look!

The knit, black turtleneck sweater I am wearing is from Gordman’s and it is so warm! Actually, it has become one of my favorite sweaters to wear! I found a sweater that looks almost exactly like mine and that can be found here.

To complete this outfit, I threw on a pair of leggings (one more reason this outfit is so great is because it is comfy) and black ridding boots. If you don’t have a pair of ridding boots, go grab one! They go with so many different looks! I have two pairs myself, one brown and one black. Both of these are so easy to pair with sweaters or even dresses. Ridding boots are definitely a closet essential!

With all of these pieces you should be able to put together a very chic, timeless, and comfortable all black ensemble! Also, you can never truly go wrong with turtlenecks in the wintertime. They are the perfect choice for all of the cold and windy days!
