Oui, Oui, & Merci!

I struggled to think of a cute and fitting title for this particular post, but I never struggle in the morning to pick this sweater! France has an undeniable history with fashion and they have always been highly influential on what women of that time were wearing. That is what makes this top so perfect for paying homage to that long, varied history.

Although I have never been to France (let alone somewhere as fabulous as Paris), I like to think that wearing this top helps to give my wardrobe that timeless French flair. Not only is it a nice tip of the hat to fashion history, it also has all of the qualities of a sweater that is perfect for layering. That makes this top just right for wintertime style, and all of those layers that are a must if you are living in cold conditions.

I found this top at Target (one of my favorite places to shop) sometime last winter. Along with this top like this, depending of course on what the weather is like when you wear it, would be so cute with either jeans or some more stylish pants. Think of something along the lines of slacks or grey suit pants for a more business casual look. The way I find myself wearing this top the most, however, is with my warm puffer jackets or with a t-shirt underneath. It would also be super cute with a button up underneath and a little collar popping out around the neck.

If you are like me, you may have little bit of cabin fever. With the fashion weeks happening right now for fall 2019, Paris will be next and I am feeling the strain of wanting to be there beginning to pull at my soul. Maybe someday that dream will actually come true, but for now I am business working my way towards a college degree. If I can’t go to Paris, this sweater will help bring Paris to me!
