A Few of My Favorite Things Spring 2019

The “A Few of My Favorite Things” series here on Faintly Familiar is always a highlight for me each new season! Springtime brings a flurry of different accessories and products to use that just do not get their time to shine in the winter or fall. Today, I want to share a few of the things that will be getting plenty of use from me.

The Illinois Ball Cap

This week I shared the ball cap that I will be wearing most this summer which you can see in the photo above. The state themed ball cap trend has gained some speed this spring, but I have had this particular hat since last fall. If you haven’t read my post about this ball cap, check it out and be sure to look out for this trend more this spring and summer!

Hair Heat Protectant

With the sun shining more and more with each passing day, there is no better time to have fabulous hair! This is the heat protectant that I use on my hair year round, but more in the summer and spring when I am not wearing beanies to stay warm. Definitely give this spray a try and then either curl or straighten your hair, it will work wonders and it holds all day with a little hairspray!

A Lightweight Motto Jacket

It is no secret that spring is known for its crazy weather. Often times it will be chilly in the early morning hours and get rather warm in the afternoon, depending on where you live. That is what makes a classic motto jacket so perfect for this time of year. Not to mention, that a motto jacket is timeless and chic!

The Lug Bag

On my recent trip to Toronto (read my recaps of day 1 & day 2 of the Toronto trip) I brought along my brand new and now favorite crossbody bag for traveling! This bag was so amazing at carrying around all of the essentials for a day of walking around in a new city. The Lug would be perfect for anyone thinking of taking a vacation or trip this spring! Mirror Lens Sunglasses

Last but not least, mirror lens sunglasses are an accessory I will be sporting a lot this spring and summer! Lately, I have noticed this particular trend is making a come back for 2019. I plan on writing a more in depth post about this trend soon so for now I will leave you with the fact that I love this fun trend.
