A Classic Embroidered Button Up

Nothing says summer more than a classic knotted button up! Recently I noticed how little of this one clothing item I had in my closet and decided to remedy the problem with a trip to Kohl’s. While doing a little light shopping I found this embroidered button up that I thought would be just perfect to add the summer wardrobe!

What was a huge selling point for this button up was the light patterning of embroidered flowers all around it. I really love the mix of sophistication and casual that comes with wearing a knotted button up in the summer. Especially when that button up has some embroidery on it!

The perfect shorts to wear with a top like this, in my opinion, are denim shorts! I know denim shorts may seem generic, but really they go with just about everything. Lastly, my black Birkenstocks were worn to complete the overall summer look.
