The Perfect Mid-July Dress

One way to beat the heat in the summertime is to wear something comfortable, and one item in my summer wardrobe that always keeps me relaxed is a good summer dress! Nothing looks more like you tried really hard to dress up than a dress, but the beauty in this outfit is dresses are so easy you don’t even have to put on pants!

The dress I am wearing here is what I would describe as the perfect mid-July dress. Not only are the colors perfect for a 4th of July celebration, but it also fits within the bright colors that are typically found this time of year. Personally I love the simple print that is one this dress. The mix of a paisley and flower print is so joyful and sweet!

Another element of this dress that I think makes it perfect for this time of year is the neckline. Halter neck dresses are some of my favorites to wear because I feel like they are so flattering to all body shapes and sizes. This style of neckline also goes really well with a cardigan or denim jacket for when the days grow cooler.

I found this little gem of a summer dress at Kohl’s which is one of my favorite places to shop for summer dresses because they always have such a good selection to choose from. This is a casual dress you can wear with heels, wedges, and flip flops is that is what your heart desires. So stay cool this hot month in style and grab a casual summer dress ASAP!
