How to Style a Denim Overalls Dress for Summer

There is a new fashion trend on the horizon for both this summer/fall of 2019 and into 2020. The overalls dress will be a go-to item for the most fashionable ladies in the world over the next year or so.

Originally, we saw the timeless overalls somehow become the “it” item for all of the most in style people around the world! Now this piece of clothing is transitioning into something that is a little more dressy and less country chic. However, have no fear for those who love overalls shorts like me! They are still very much in style.

Take advantage of this Fashion Forecast by getting ahead of the overalls dress trend now! Today I will be sharing how I am styling overalls dresses for the summer season.

My go-to way of styling a denim overall dress is with my favorite goldenrod yellow t-shirt! This shade of yellow really provides the perfect amount of contrast for the blue to stand out, and the goldenrod shade in particular goes well with most styles of shoes.

One reason I was so interested in the overalls dress I purchases was because of the pockets, and the fact that it didn’t give off cheesy retro vibes. I like how it is very current in style while also differentiating itself from most other overalls dresses.
