A Few of My Favorite Things: Spring 2020
The photo above is a throwback to when we were all allowed to go outside. I thought it would be a nice picture for the moment since we are all stuck indoors and the weather is becoming more beautiful by the day.
Here are a few of my favorite things while I am at home this spring 2020:
#1. Scrunchie
While I am home, my hair goes right up into a ponytail or bun. There are not too many things these days that I am doing to dress up, so when I get the chance to add that little extra something to my day I capitalize on it. Even when I’m not wearing makeup or dressing up, a scrunchie in my hair can make me feel a little more fancy.
#2. A Bathrobe
I find myself roaming the house more and more these days in a cozy bathrobe. Especially in the mornings and evenings, you will find me wearing my favorite pajamas and a soft robe to waltz around in. A long robe is perfect for the cold winter evenings, and a short one is just right during the summer months. I have one of both!
#3. A Cute AirPods Case
You may not be going anywhere anymore, but when you do start venturing out again having a protective and cute AirPods case might be a good idea. I got a pretty deep blue and light pink floral rubber case for mine a couple of weeks before we were all told to stay home. After dropping my bare AirPods case a time or two, I thought it might be a good idea to find some type of barrier for the next time I drop it (it’s inevitable, lets face it).
There are so many clever designs when you go looking for an AirPods case! They have ones that look like a Polaroid camera, a unicorn, and even french fries! Although I settled for a more generic floral style, it sure was a lot of fun to look at them all!
#4. Calvin Klein Sweatpants
Last but certainly not least, my favorite sweatpants and joggers of all-time! Calvin Klein is one of my absolute favorite designer brands, and I am very dedicated to this brand (I know that sounds like a joke, but when I have a new dress to buy this Calvin Klein is one of my go-to brans to look at).
Anyway, since it looks like the spring season will be spent at home and lounging around most days, I get to enjoy my favorite brand even then! Calvin Klein sweatpants are so comfortable, perfect for my petite height, affordable, and they have POCKETS!!! To me, pockets are the holy grail.
I hope you all have a wonderful and healthy spring season. It isn’t what we expected or wanted, but if we all stick together by staying home we can end this pandemic!
