Sunglasses for Every Face Shape

The Round Face
These sunglasses are perfect for someone with a round face shape. You are very lucky to have this face shaped because Matrix sunglasses have come back into style and they are super chic! Grab a pair here.
For a round face shape, with fuller cheekbones and a more narrow forehead and jaw, it is best to find sunglasses that are more wide and rectangular shaped. For this face shape avoid round frames and colored lenses. It is best to wear a classic color like black that complements everything, along with a more understated style like the pair I am wearing above.
The Oblong Face
If you have a oblong face shape, go for the aviators. This style of sunglasses never fades away from be on trend! Grab a pair here.
The oblong face shape has a longer face with a narrow chin and cheeks. For this face shape go for the gorgeous oversized Jackie O. style glasses. Anything that wraps around looks good on you! Do the opposite of the round face, try to avoid narrow sunglasses. These aviator styled sunglasses I am wearing would be perfect for this face shape! They are just the right shape and size to complement the oblong face in all of the right places!
The Square Face
This slightly cat-eyed pair of sunglasses is perfect for anyone with a square face shape! Grab a pair here.
The square face shape works with many styles of sunglasses, but there are still some things to keep in mind. This face shape has has a broader forehead and a beautiful square jawline! If this is your face shape, go for round, oval, and cat-eye sunglasses! Try to avoid anything that has too much of a geometric shape to it. The slightly cat-eyed style I am wearing above is perfect for a square shaped face. This look isn’t too over the top, but it is still there enough to notice.
The Heart-shaped Face

If you are like me, you have a wide forehead and cheekbones with a more narrow, pointed chin. This is called the heart shaped face. For folks like us, we should go for the styles that are more of an exaggerated cat-eye and round styled sunglasses. This style softens out the narrow chin and accentuates our cheekbones. But remember to not go over the top with your sunglasses. If the color is too bright, it doesn’t work with our face shape. The sunglasses I am wearing here has a gold accent that shows the gorgeous cat-eye without drawing too much attention.
The Oval Face Shape
Although any style of sunglasses will work for the oval face shape, I think a cute angled pair like the ones I am wearing here would be perfect! Grab a pair here.
Ah, the oval face! This face shape is envied by everyone, and for a good reason, too. The oval face can wear any shape of sunglasses and look fabulous! Yes, you heard me right. ANY SHAPE!! If you have an oval face shape, you were blessed with a perfectly balanced forehead, cheekbones, and jaw! This gives you the ability to move with all of the sunglass styles and to always be on trend without the fear of that a particular style may not fit your face shape. But in my humble, heart-shaped face opinion, I think an oval face should go with a classic softly angled frame. With a sunglass style like this you can just grab them, put them on, and go!
