How to Add a Little Spring Into Your Winter Wardrobe

I think we can all agree that January can feel a little dreary every once in a while. Between cabin fever and all of the cold weather (depending on your location – if you live near the beach I envy you), it can feel like this whole winter thing may never end. Well, I am here to say there is a better way to create a little reprieve!

If you have been reading Faintly Familiar for a while now, you already know that neon has been the “it” color trend since the fall of 2018. I wrote about this trend back in the fall, you can read that post here. That trend certainly hasn’t ended, if anything it has been amped up. Let’s face it, neon looks pretty cool against a snowy background, but I digress.

This trend seem to be the perfect way to add a little spring into your wardrobe and to liven things up a bit. Nothing feels better in the bland wintertime than added a little color! One of my favorite neon colors to wear is this bright, beautiful green!

The sweater I am wearing above is from H&M, but I found a couple of cool neon sweaters on Amazon that you can see here and here. There are a ton of ways to pair a neon piece, but one of my favorites is with a cute pair of snow boots! Hope this little bit of advice brightens up your January!
