How to Style a Trench Coat for Spring

It’s no secret that trench coats are an absolute closet essential for both men and women. We often think of it as something that we should all own, but we really don’t know how to wear it. It becomes especially difficult to style in the springtime, but it doesn’t have to be!

The spring season is the perfect time to break out the trench coat because of all the pretty cherry blossom trees and the in between weather. Although styling changes from season to season, the way I like to wear a trench coat (here is the EXACT trench coat I am wearing) in the spring is with bright colors! This “Living Coral” color of 2019 really goes well with the classic camel trench coat I have, and adding a basic pair of denim skinny jeans just completes the look.

Another way to style a camel trench coat for spring would be to couple it with a baby blue blouse or something hot pink. Both of those colors in those shades would look gorgeous with the camel color of this coat. Not to mention, anything navy always looks so classy and preppy with a trench coat!

So, remember that when styling a camel colored trench coat in the springtime, bright colors are always a win! They look gorgeous all year round AND they are such a statement against the classic camel color of the trench coat!
