Let it Bee
As promised from my Look Book post about the Happy to “Bee” Here polo, I want to share a more in depth post about the bee symbol that seems to be everywhere in fashion. Bees are the symbol of the year!
This happy little symbol is a reminder of fancier and happier things. As you can see, it is being used to inspire people to “bee” kind. I personally think this is such an adorable little symbol for the summer of 2019 and for the fashion that will be coming our way this year.
High fashion is really what caused the happy little bumble bee to take over the fashion industry. Gucci used the bee (or something that looked a lot like one) to create several seasons of clothing and it became a real trend. Now we see that fashion has taken it into another direction and made the symbol a little more friendly.
I don’t except the bee to leave the spotlight anytime soon since some of the more affordable options of clothing are taking this iconic symbol to the masses finally. The bee is no longer just for those who can afford Gucci, it is for everyone and it comes in all forms. I personally welcome this symbol of the year, and I think it will make for some really cute fashion and decor.
