How to Style a White T-Shirt

For a while now I have wanting to write a blog post all about how to style a white t-shirt. I know the white t-shirt seems like a real basic and easy to achieve style, but there are so many fun ways to dress it up without it being a plain outfit.

Now, we all know that a plain white t-shirt is an obvious wardrobe essential, but often times we think of it as the thing to throw on when we are not feeling like dressing up. But I want to share an easy way to dress up that casual t-shirt.

My go-to dress up a white t-shirt style is eye popping shorts! I know that if you are not careful wearing bright and pattern filled shorts can really go wrong and be quite scary to play around with when it comes to fashion. However, with a Palin white t-shirt it really works well!

These blue gingham shorts from Old Navy are so cute, but I have been struggling to find the right occasion to wear them. I think I finally found the solution and it was right there in front of me the whole time — the white t-shirt!

So, on a mini golf outing I decided to take this fun little outfit for a spin and I couldn’t have been happier! It was the perfect way to dress up a white t-shirt and a really cute look for a day playing putt putt golf!

Here is my tip for wearing a white t-shirt, do not be afraid to take a fashion risk while wearing a plain white t-shirt. Matter of fact, the best time to take fashion risks is when you are wearing a piece as classic as a white t-shirt. So don’t be afraid to play around with different styles and fashion trends that you wouldn’t normally wear, with a white t-shirt you really cannot go wrong!
