A Few of My Favorite Things Summer 2019

The summer season is officially upon us which means it is time for the list of products and brands that I will be using the most this summer. A Few of My Favorite Things is one of my favorite series to write for and I always love hearing all of the products you enjoy using in the summer, so if you have any you think I should know about leave a comment!

Tanning Lotion

One element that is so essential to my summer routine is looking after my delicate and fair complexion. Since I know that I am more susceptible to burning my skin in the sun than the average person, I like to use tanning lotion as a alternative to sitting in the sun. Personally, I think Jergen’s tanning lotion is the best self tanner on the market. It always looks great and it doesn’t have the distinct smell most self tanners have! So if you are looking into trying self tanner or changing self tanning brands, definitely give Jergen’s a try!

Conair Detangling Brush

Summertime is when my hair goes into a ponytail, bun, or nice updo the most, and nothing is more necessary for making that happen than a good brush. Recently I discovered the wonders of the Conair Detangling brush and it was a game changer for me. Normally I struggle with brushes getting through my tangled hair and there are a lot of ouch moments, but with this brush that all went away! Wet or dry, this brush works amazingly and never hurts my scalp. I highly recommend this brush for anyone, if you try it you won’t want to go back.

Flatforms

I already made a pretty detailed blog post about the making of the flatform trend, but I definitely wanted to include these shoes in my list of favorite things for summer. These shoes have really been a great go-to resource for summer both in casual and dressy setting.

A Bucket Hat

Last but not least, I wanted to include the bucket hat in this list. It is going to be an awesome fashion trend for the summer and I think that it will stick around for some time after as well. I wrote a Fashion Forecast post on this trend too so you can read further if you would like. Overall, I just really feel like the bucket hat will be one of the top accessories of the summer!
