Crunching Leaves & Color Block Fall Sleeves
Depending on where you live in the world, you may be noticing that the leaves on trees are in the process of changing from a vibrant green to burning orange. Pretty soon they will be gently floating to the ground, and the window of the fall colors will be over. So, it is now that we should embrace these tones and colors, and we should wear them until we absolutely cannot anymore!
Embracing those autumn tones is exactly what I have decided to do today! This classic sweatshirt top I am wearing today has the perfect fall palette for this time of the year. A deep blue or classic navy never goes out of style, and that is one of the reasons this top is so versatile. Besides the base color of this top, the sleeves add a little flavor to the overall look by using color blocking.
The mix of gold and burnt brown decorate the sleeves and provide a little bit of character to this look. White sandwiched in between the blue and brownish tones gives the right contrast to the two colors. All of these tones are a unconventional paring, but I believe that it works beautifully!
While styling this look, I decided that black skinny jeans were the way to go. However, I do feel like a classic blue denim pair of jeans in many washes would work too! To give a more seamless look, I decided my black Vionic ankle boots would be the perfect choice of shoes.
Personally, I believe you will see a whole lot more of this golden and burnt brown color mix both this fall and into the wintertime. If you do not see it from others, I know for a fact you will be seeing it from me! 😉
Enjoy the fall colors both in fashion and in the great outdoors while we still have them. And remember, when in doubt, wear ankle boots!
