A Few of My Favorite Things Winter 2019/20
Winter is all about being on survival mode! With plunging temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, and many busy events that require being cozy and cute, winter is by far the hardest season to prepare for.
Whether you live in a frigidly cold place or not, it is always a good idea to know what you are up against when it comes to cold snaps. Today I am sharing the items I have been using so far this winter, and some tried and try favorites that have been a go-to product of mine for years.
Fuzzy Socks
After a long day of running errands or going to classes, there is nothing better than taking my shoes off and putt on a cozy pair of fuzzy socks. These socks not only keep your feel warm, but they make it really easy to recreate the Risky Business sock sliding scene if you happen to be home alone.
Flannel PJs
Flannel pjs are the perfect pairing with the soft fuzzy socks that you will hopefully be slipping into this winter. If you don’t already have at least once pair of flannel pjs, what are you waiting for? You haven’t experience joy in the wintertime until you have worn flannel pjs while sipping hot chocolate next to a fireplace!
Fingerless Mittens
This is a new discovery for my winter survival gear! Fingerless mittens are great because it is super easy to slip the half circle of material covering your fingertips and use your phone! The smart touch technology on some of the winter gloves available have never been very useful for me. For some reason I have never been able to actually use the touchscreen of my phone with the smart touch gloves. I find it much easier to just use fingerless mittens. Plus, if it is extra cold out you can put a hand warmer in the half circle to keep your fingertips toasty.
A Cozy Robe
There doesn’t go a morning or evening that you won’t see me using my robe. There are several types of robes for several different purposes, but when I am trying to fight off the chilly winter nights I always grab my robe and lay under a heated blanket. If that doesn’t sound cozy, what does?
What are your go-to products or brands that you use in the winter months? Do you have any new products you have tried out this winter and want to recommend? Let me know in the comments!
Much Love,
