There are a whole lot of flamingos this summer! Everywhere you look it seems that a flamingo theme will be there whether it’s home decor, fashion, or fun trinkets. Today I am going to take a deeper look into this phenomenon and dissect why this is happening in 2019 instead of any other year. I would say that a major reason the flamingo has gotten such a popularity boost is because of this year’s Met Gala theme. Grandma and Grandpa’s 65th Anniversary Party
This July 4th was extra special for my Grandma and Grandpa McFarland this year! First, they were the Grand Marshals of the local 4th of July parade. Second, our family threw them a fun 65th wedding anniversary party! This is, of course, a very unique milestone to hit so we took this as an opportunity to celebrate! My mom did all of the heavy lifting when it came to planning the party for my grandparents, but when she needed our help to put together the decorations the day of the party we all stepped up to help out!
