The Must Have Shoes of Summer 2019!

If you are looking for a fun way to spice up your shoe closet this summer, platform heels are the way to go! Now, I know this seems scary. Platforms are rather intimidating to look at and think about walking in, but they are surprisingly sturdy.

I have several pairs of platform heels and I have worn them several times before now, but I am thankful to see these shoes having the spotlight yet again. It may seem like a bit of a retro suggestion, but platforms have quickly become the shoe essential of summer 2019.

There are so many different types of platforms out there with unique details that really make one pair stand apart from another. Personally, I love the platforms that have velvet on them or a fun embroidered detail like the ones pictured above.

If you are attending a wedding this summer or some kind of special occasion, a decent pair of platforms would be perfect! These shoes look absolutely perfect with a cute summer dress or a maxi dress, and it will really give petite girls like me a lift so any skirt that has yet to be dimmed can wait a little longer!

Overall, I highly suggest having at least one pair of platforms somewhere within your wardrobe. Some people might look at these trendy shoes and cringe while thinking of the 70’s, but I personally love platforms and I think they should have some kind of spot in every time era.
