Green with Envy

One of the freshest shades of the summertime season has appeared to be green. This color surrounds us in nature in the summertime, but that won’t stop me from letting it take over a small corner of my summer wardrobe.

Green has been popping up everywhere in summer fashion lately. It feels like so many different styles are incorporating differing shades of green to liven things up and I am loving it!

After finding this green striped top at Kohl’s, I know it would be the perfect addition to my summer closet and it would play well with a lot of different accessories. Instead of going with a pair of denim short, I am favoring more of the blended linen shorts from Old Navy. Although I still think denim is such a classic look, these shorts give the illusion of denim while also providing a little extra comfort.

Last but not least, I toped off this outfit with my trusty flatforms! These shoes, as I wrote about in a early blog post, are the perfect mix of cute and comfortable. I just feel like they really topped this outfit off in just the right way!

So if you are looking to spice things up this summer, don’t be afraid to give something green a try! You never know who you will inspire to also become green with envy.
