A Look at Olive Overalls Dresses
Overalls dresses are going to be all the rage this fall 2019 as I already expressed in my blog post titled “How to Style a Denim Overalls Dress for Summer“. Today I want to expand on how you can wear this trendy item and change up the color scheme a little bit.
I quite possibly like this overalls dress even better than my classic denim dress simply because olive green is so chic! The black mock turtleneck neck t-shirt I pair with the olive green shade made a perfect combo, and really creates a fun street style vibe.
Since this is more of a fall 2019 trend, I feel like this olive green and black turtleneck pairing are better for the fall season while the denim overalls dress is more summer appropriate. Of course, you can still make the denim work for fall, but it would require a little bit of different styling.
There are still differences with this overalls dress that the denim one did not have. For instance, the circular zipper adds that little touch of retro without going over the top. I really like how this olive green overalls dress didn’t lean into the overalls stereotype of having buttons to latch for the straps. That is something almost every pair of overalls has and I like that this dress is a little different.
Really this is the kind of look that is absolutely perfect for a weekend get together with friends. It can be dressed up with a cute pair of wedges or dressed down with sandals. Either way, you can never go wrong with a classic muted colored ensemble like this one, and the mock turtleneck t-shirt is also a great standalone piece to have in your wardrobe!
Much Love,
Sarah
