Elegant Scallops
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the best time in the entire year — fall! This is my absolute favorite season for many reasons, but one of this reasons is certainly the fashion. The colors that go along with autumn are some of the most lovely shades of each variety and they mix well together, too!
I cannot think of a better dress to kick off this new season than this burgundy, scalloped dress! Burgundy is such a flattering color on everyone and it always makes for an elegant look. This particular dress is designed to be a scalloped t-shirt dress which makes it a pretty great choice for the warmer days that litter the end of summer.
Another lovely fashionable choice for the autumn season that isn’t quite as easy to pull off in the heat of summer is layering of a cardigan. Now, I haven’t always been the biggest fan of cardigans, I must admit. However, they have surprisingly grown on me this year, and I will be fully embracing their wonderfulness for the autumn. Brace yourselves, there will be a whole lot of cardigan loving here on Faintly Familiar very soon!

Scallops will be something you see a bit more of this fall 2019. There are many forms you can take to embrace this little micro-trend, but I will be sporting it with this elegant dress!
