What I’m Wearing for St. Patrick’s Day 2019
Whether you are superstitious like me or not, the truth is no one wants to be pinched simply for not wearing green on any particular day. But that doesn’t mean you have to completely deck yourself out in shamrocks either! This year, I am taking a bit of a different approach to St. Patrick’s Day.
Instead of wearing the normal bright green shamrock t-shirt or a “Kiss me I’m Irish” sweater, try going for a more versatile (and dare I say timeless) look. For instance, the top I am wearing above is not only an easy solution for St. Patrick’s Day, but it is also something that can be worn any time of the year really. Another great point about this top is that it can be dressed up or dressed down with the simple addition of accessories.
One last element of this top that I can not forget to mention is the ruffles on the sides. Contrary to a shamrock, these ruffles add a little elegance to the overall look. Ruffles have been so trendy as of late too so that is another reason this blouse is winning in the St. Patrick’s Day race!
Since my day will be more relaxed, I decided to dress this top down with a cute pair of brand new jeans from Old Navy and my favorite western inspires ankle boots. In a future “Fashion Forecast” post I will go more in depth, but for now let me mention that details around the ankle of regular denim jeans are really in style right now and definitely something to out for more in fashion.
I hope everyone has a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day, and (with this help of this article) avoids being pinched!
Much Love,
Sarah
