My Trip to Casey, Illinois
This weekend I went on a little road trip to a cute town I have been wanting to visit for a while now. I originally hear about the larger than life attractions that are in Casey, Illinois, while watching the news. From that moment on I knew that there would be a road trip somewhere in my future. Not only does Casey, Illinois, contain some of the world’s largest stuff, but it is also much a great example of the quaintness found in small towns. Every year members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution gather together to celebrate historic preservation, education, and patriotism. My Go-To Ball Cap this Summer
A the sun begins to peak around the clouds of winter, there are a few options for protecting your eyes. The most common prescription to sunny days are sunglasses, however, every now and then you will see someone wearing a ball cap. I typically do not wear ball caps or hats outside of wintertime beanies, but for those bad hair days there is really no better alternative. 4th of July 2018
It was one jam-packed fourth of July for my family and I this year! This was the third year in a row that I have walked in the fourth of July parade in Oakwood, Illinois. This year was extra special because it was the first time my Mom and I have had the opportunity to walk alongside our fellow Governor Bradford NSDAR members!
