Of all of the collections that were shown at New York Fashion Week, Ralph Lauren’s may be the most sophisticated one of all. The set signed what like a little world of its own. Kate Spade does it again! It is easy to see the fall 2019 runway collection that was shown at New York Fashion Week took huge inspiration from the spring/summer collection that was shown last year. The fashion stands out and somehow also pays tribute to style of eras gone by. The 1960’s vibes are strong with the head scarf and the lightly flared pant designs. Recently, I watched the film Meet John Doe for the first time and it instantly became one of my favorites! Plus, can you ever really go wrong with an inspirational Frank Capra film? Let’s review this classic! I find that Frank Capra films are chock full of symbolism and inspiration. Between Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Capra was never short of holding the “American Dream” in high esteem.
