• Sketches of Princess Diana’s Iconic Dresses

Today, as promised, I will be sharing the numerous sketches that were at the Princess Diana dress exhibit at Kensington Palace! This was particularly fun for me to see in person because the detailing on the sketches were incredible! Some of the Princess of Wales’ most iconic ensemble were shown in sketch form at this exhibit along with bits of the fabric from the looks. Below are all of the sketches at the exhibit, hope you enjoy them! Those are all of the photos I have of the sketches shown at the Princess Diana dress exhibit. Although this post was short in comparison to the much longer one I published…

  • Princess Diana’s Dresses at Kensington Palace

One of the most exciting attractions for me while we were in London was seeing the Princess Diana dress exhibit at Kensington Palace! It made not only my day, week, month, and year but my WHOLE LIFE!!! I’m not really joking when I say this, I am a huge fan of Princess Diana because of her kindness. Seeing her dresses in person made the whole idea of her a lot more real than ever before. At the exhibit they also had quite a few sketches of the dress designs hanging on the walls, so all of those photos are in another blog post. For today, however, we will be focusing…

  • The London Trip: Day 1

After a week of recovery and trying to get back into the mode of college classes, I have finally found the time to sit down and tell you all about the awesome trip my brother Jacob and I took on fall break. Keep in mind that our fall break was only a week long, so our trip was relatively short. But man did we do a lot of cool thing while we were there! If you haven’t heard yet, or seen on my social media, my older brother Jacob and I took a small trip to London on our fall break! In total, it took us 6 days (we originally…

  • Movie Monday: Home Alone (1990)

Since we have officially entered the month of December, I felt it was time to begin our film celebration for the holidays. What better way to kick it all off than with one of the all time best holiday films Home Alone! These photos are not mine. This movie remains one of my favorite films to watch this time of year because the soundtrack is so on point! Every song is such a classic, and I get excited when I hear them on the radio because it reminds me of Home Alone. Chris Columbus had a talent for finding the right music for all of his holiday movies. This reminds…

  • The Tommy Hilfiger Top I will be Wearing this Holiday Season

It is no surprise that Tommy Hilfiger knows how to utilize the colors navy and cherry red to the finest quality. With these colors being in his logo, he is somehow able to not only innovate in fashion using this kind of pallet but also brand his designs to be classic and iconic all at the same time! So at this time of year when the colors of the season call for a cheerful red, I am happy to pull out some of my favorite Tommy Hilfiger designs. This shirt I an absolute classic, in my opinion! Not just because of the gorgeous red color, but also because of the…

  • Movie Monday: It Should Happen to You (1954)

It Should Happen to You is yet another classic film that loves to play around with the idea of advertising/advertisements. In this film, Judy Holliday plays a character that comes up with the very original idea to advertise her own name on a billboard in the hopes of becoming famous. Well, the billboard project works! But I will leave what happens in the rest of the film out in case you haven’t ever seen it before. It is a great film though, and I highly recommend watching it! These photos are not mine. This Jack Lemmon’s first role in a Hollywood film! Unlike his role in Some Like It Hot,…

  • The Arm Details in Sweaters Trend

There are so many reasons I love this sweater, but one of the biggest ones is that it fits in so perfectly with the trend I am seeing this fall/winter. So many shirts and sweaters this season have included a cute little detail along the sleeve! Whether it be lace, leather, or a simple little tie design like the one on my sweater, there are so many ways to add a little flair. I found this sweater at Kohl’s and fell in love with it immediately! It was such a good price, too! I believe I only paid maybe $10 for this sweater because it was on sale the day…

  • What I’m Wearing for Thanksgiving 2018

Happy Thanksgiving! This is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons, one being that I get to be with the people I love! There is nothing more special than seeing members of the family you rarely get to see, and spending some fun and quality time with them. For the season of being thankful, I am wearing a sweater that makes me feel soft and warm on the inside. With such a variety of choices, sweaters are my go-to staple for fall and winter. Of course, how you style them and to what occasion you where them to changes how they appear. I feel like this golden Shein sweater is just…

  • Movie Monday: Funny Face (1957)

Audrey Hepburn is known as one of the most stylish ladies in cinema history for a good reason! There is no better example of this than the film Funny Face. Not to mention the classic dancing scenes and songs that are scattered throughout this film, it is no wonder Funny Face is held in high esteem. These photos are not mine. I simply love Funny Face for a number of reasons, one being how bright and colorful it is! For 1957, its scenes vibrantly fill the screen with colors, motion, and sounds that makes this film an overall exciting experience. With all of the senses being used, this is the…

  • The Faux Cardigan

Burgundy is one of my favorites colors to wear this time of year! The ways to wear it and what you can mix it with is endless. And it always look so cute with a pair of brown ankle boots! Today I’m wearing a shirt from Shein that looks layered but it isn’t at all. It is a faux layered look, and it is one of my favorites tricks of the trade when the days get colder! Although I do love to layer with coats and vests, but I’m not much of a cardigan girl. This top is perfect for me because it looks like a button up with a…
